Icon sells human UGC. We generate ads.
This is not really a like-for-like comparison, and pretending otherwise would waste your time. Icon's offer is filmed UGC from real creators. Ours is generated video. They solve the same bottleneck in opposite ways.

Choose filmed UGC when the ad has to carry real credibility
If the ad has to carry genuine credibility — a considered purchase, a health or supplement claim, anything where a viewer needs to believe a real person actually used it — filmed UGC from a real creator does something generated video cannot. Icon's offer is clear and their creator network is the product.
Choose generated video when you are still finding the format
If you need creative volume to keep an account fed, filmed UGC is the wrong unit economics. Six ads is not a test programme, and a re-film is a fortnight. Use generated ads to find the format and the hook that work, then spend production money filming the one that won.
Questions, answered.
Should I use AI ads or real creators?
Both, in that order. Find the winning structure cheaply with generated variations, then put production budget behind filming the version that proved itself. Testing with filmed UGC is expensive learning.
Is AI UGC as effective as real UGC?
It depends on the format and the category. Talking-head and product-led formats hold up well; anything relying on visible authenticity of the person is where filmed content still wins.
