Creator-style ads without the creator shoot
A product photo and an angle is enough. You get a UGC-style ad with a person on camera, captions burned in and the pacing paid social expects.
AI UGC against a creator shoot
The honest version. There are things a real creator does that this does not.
| AI UGC ad | Briefing a creator | |
|---|---|---|
| Time from brief to cut | Minutes | Days to weeks, plus shipping |
| Variations of one concept | As many as the test needs | Whatever was shot on the day |
| Product in hand, on camera | Generated | Genuinely in hand |
| Lived credibility | Limited — it is a performance | Real, and sometimes that is the whole ad |
| Reshoot after feedback | Re-render | Re-book |
Where a creator wins, say so. A comparison nobody believes converts nobody.
What you control
The person
Pick the presenter, or use your own likeness with consent.
The script
Write it, or have it written from the product page and the angle.
The voice
Pick one of the built-in voices, or keep it captions-only.
The caption style
Match the look that already works in your account.
The format
Problem-solution, unboxing, listicle, testimonial, us-versus-them.
The length
Cut to the length the placement actually rewards.
Questions, answered.
Do I have to disclose that an ad is AI-generated?
Meta and TikTok both have their own rules on labelling synthetic and AI-generated media, and they change. Check the current policy for the placement you are buying before launch.
Can I use my own face?
Not at the moment. Real user ads use the built-in AI presenters and voices.
Will it look obviously AI?
Sometimes, depending on the format. Formats where the person handles the product closely are the hardest; talking-head and voiceover-over-product formats hold up best.
